Five Pakistanis have been arrested for turning the old Shuwaikh police outpost into a garage. It is understood that they have since been referred to the concerned authorities for legal action.
During a routine security-check in the Shuwaikh Industrial Area, security personnel from the Capital governorate visited the old police outpost and were shocked to discover that it had been transformed into a full-fledged garage to repair cars and other vehicles.
The five ‘mechanics’ who were repairing the vehicles were immediately arrested and interrogated before being referred to the prosecution for further action. The police also seized all the equipment used to repair vehicles, as well as the several vehicles that had been brought in for repair.
