The first Kuwait Airways flights with 197 domestic workers onboard from Sri Lanka arrived in Kuwait on Thursday, Al Qabas daily, quoting informed sources.

The 197 domestic workers passed through Kuwait International Airport in the country after registering on the Belsalamah.com safety platform. The sources revealed that the Civil Aviation Authority agreed with its Sri Lankan counterpart for a mutual equal share in transporting domestic workers by allocating a quota for domestic workers coming from Sri Lanka to Kuwait with one of the Sri Lankan airlines involved in the process. The second flight from Sri Lanka is scheduled for February 8th.
