The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled congratulated Sheikh Talal Al-Fahd on his election as President of the Olympic Council of Asia.
The Public Relations and Security Media Department of the Ministry of Interior stated in a press statement that Al-Khaled sent a congratulatory cable to Sheikh Talal Al-Fahd, in which he expressed his sincere congratulations coupled with sincere wishes on his election as President of the Olympic Council of Asia, reports Al-Rai daily.
Al-Khalid said, “Your victory in this international sports position came in recognition of your achievements and your busy sports career.”
He prayed to the Almighty to help him carry this trust and help him to serve dear Kuwait and raise its flag in various regional and international sports forums under the wise and rational leadership of His Highness the Amir of the country and His Highness the Crown Prince.
