The General Department of Fire Services has signed an insurance contract against all risks of machinery, equipment and vehicles, in addition to civil liability against third parties, which is the first of its kind, with the National Takaful Insurance Company.
Al-Rai has learned the insurance contract includes compensation for damaged or totally destroyed machinery, repair of machinery and equipment as a result of accidental traffic accidents, spare parts for vehicles damaged inside or outside the fire station (inside Kuwait – outside Kuwait).
The contract also includes compensation for firefighters as a result of injury or death while on duty. The signing of the contract was attended by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Takaful Insurance Company.
