Security forces responded to a report about an Indian man, 27, who committed suicide in a shared accommodation in Farwaniya. The man tied a rope on the ceiling of the room to end his life. According to friends, the victim was going through financial difficulties and suffering from a serious psychological condition. A case was registered and the body was referred to forensics experts.
On a similar incident, another Indian expat attempted to commit suicide by wrist-cutting. Sources said the victim is currently being treated at Al-Adan Hospital and may be deported by authorities.
