The Ministry of Finance announced the completion of the first phase of the Failaka Island development project, which includes examining the comprehensive model for the project, in cooperation between the public and private sectors.
An informed source told a local Arabic daily the Ministry has informed the municipality about the Cabinet’s decision to assign Finance Minister Abdul Wahhab Al-Rasheed to initiate all measures to implement the Failaka Tourist Park development project as quickly as possible and overcome obstacles.
He indicated that the assigned team has started the second phase, which includes collecting basic information about the site.
He added that the Ministry of Finance requested facilitating the task of the members of the advisory team to obtain all the information and services necessary to extract all documents, plans and licenses required to start working on the project as soon as possible.
