The Director of the Airport Passports Department, Brigadier Bader Al-Shaya, has issued a circular to the Civil Aviation Administration stating that “it is strictly forbidden to allow entry of any passenger of the Filipino nationality even if he/she has a valid entry visa, and that only those who have a valid residence permit in the country are can be allowed entry, and this went into effect as of Wednesday, May 10, 2023, until further notice.
The Al-Qabas daily quoting sources said, “In light of the circular, the Director of Operations Department at the General Administration of Civil Aviation, Mansour Al-Hashemi, has issued a circular to the Chairman of the Airline Companies Committee AOC not to allow any passenger of the Filipino nationality to board the plane bound for Kuwait except for those who have a valid residence permit, even if the passenger holds a valid entry visa issued prior to this date further notice.
The Department of Civil Aviation has informed airlines of the new directives regarding passengers of Filipino nationality.
