A Filipina Iszell Samson Laygan was found hanging on the bathroom of her employer’s house at about Monday morning 9am.
According to other Filipina household helpers working with Laygan, that in past three days she has been quiet and had not been speaking with anyone.
At about 9 in the morning, one of Laygan’s Filipina coworker received a troubling call from family Filipino driver of the family to check Laygan as he witnessed how Laygan hanged herself while on video chat.
Coworkers forced open the door but had difficulty as it was locked from inside. The employer was immediately summoned and asked for the assistance of the police which forced the door open and found the dead body of Laygan hanging from the shower tube.
Early reports disclosed that Laygan has been threatened with personal problems which resulted to her committing suicide. The body has been brought to forensic investigation.
Laygan arrived in Kuwait on her second deployment on May 2019, her docuemnts have been processed under Hirotiger International Agency for Al Barakah Office. Laygan hails from Bagong Silang Iligan City.
