After playing a major role in vaccinating citizens and residents, the mobile field campaigns for vaccination resumed work a few days ago at various vital sites to immunize workers in mosques and cooperative societies with the third booster dose who had taken the second dose six months ago.

The head of the field campaigns team at the Ministry of Health, Dr. Dina Al-Dhubaib, told Al-Rai, “We have covered the mosques sector of the Ministry of Awqaf in all regions of Kuwait. We started with the Jahra region, before moving on to Farwaniya and then Ahmadi. We have an ongoing field campaign in all regions, and the target is 6,000 male and female employees in the mosque sector, to vaccinate them with the third dose.”

She pointed out “in cooperative societies workers are vaccinated in the evening and the team expects to complete vaccinating everyone in two weeks, according to the plan drawn up by the ministry,” following which the team will move to the malls and supermarkets.
