According to the data issued by the Public Institute for Social Insurance shows 1,369 male and female citizens have left work in the private sector by the end of 2021, a majority of whom are female employees.

A local Arabic daily said the number of insured citizens working in the private sector fell by 1,369 citizens, bringing their number down from 53.9 thousand at the end of 2020 to 52.59 thousand by the end of 2021.

The figures showed the number of female citizens leaving the private sector was 1,424. At the end of their number fell to 24.64 thousand at the end of 2021 compared to 26.06 thousand at the end of 2020.
