The propagation event for Farook College, 75th year celebration, was held under the auspices of Farook College Old Students Association (FOSA) Kuwait Chapter with active participation from its old students. The program started with the recital of the Holy Quran by Mizaaj Riyaz.
The gathering was presided by the Chapter President Mohamed Rafi, followed by the Chief Guest Dr. K.M.Naseer, the college’s principal delivering the keynote address where he mentioned the great contributions made by the visionaries like K.M Seethi Saheb and Moulavi Abu Sabah and many sincere socially committed people for establishing such a wonderful institute for the educational upliftment of Malabar area, which delivered high quality education for generations along with positive contribution to the society.
He also talked about the milestones the college has achieved throughout its 75-year journey. FOSA central committee General Secretary and the director self-financing unit Dr. P.P Yousef Ali then briefed the progress that the institute achieved in academic front. A staunch supporter of the college who contributed to its growth, Mr. Abdullah Al-Saqar & Fosa Central Committee member and former FOSA Kuwait president Ahmed Koya rendered felicitation speeches.
Mr. Abdullah Al-Saqar mentioned his long-term relation with the college and the area. Followed by presenting a token of appreciation to the guests by Mr. Abdullah Al-Saqar in the presence of Afsal Khan, Country Head of Malabar Gold & Diamonds.
The Chapter General Secretary Riyas Ahmed presented a welcome speech and Organizing secretary Ramees Hydrose concluded the event with a vote of thanks and thanked the organizers of this event, followed by an orchestra led by Rafi Kozhikode and Anwar Sarang.
