To bid farewell to Ambassador of Mexico H E Luis Alberto Barrero Stahl and his spouse Monica, a farewell reception was held at the residence of Reaven D’Souza, managing editor of The Times, Kuwait. Ambassador Luis is the first resident ambassador to Kuwait and is credited with opening the Mexican embassy here.
He has worked enormously hard at further strengthening relations between the two nations. In his address to the gathering he expressed his gratitude to the hosts and recollected his memorable tenure in the country. In his message, Reaven D’Souza highlighted some of the important achievements of Ambassador Luis and pointed out that their absence would be felt in diplomatic circles.
