A farewell ceremony was held in honor of the outgoing German ambassador to Kuwait H.E. Karl Bergner, on the completion of his very successful tenure in Kuwait. The event, held last week at the Crowne Plaza Hotel and hosted by the Acting dean of Diplomatic Corps and Ambassador of Botswana to Kuwait H.E. Manyepedza P. Lesetedi, was attended by a large number of diplomats.
Speaking on behalf of the diplomatic corps, the Botswana Ambassador H.E. Manyepedza P. Lesetedi praised the German Ambassador for his successful tenure, and for playing a prominent role in the development of bilateral relations between Germany and Kuwait.
A memento, as a token of appreciation, was handed over to the German Ambassador on behalf of his colleagues in recognition of his diplomatic efforts during his tenure.
