The Ministry of Health recently obtained preliminary approvals from the Central Agency for Public Tenders, regarding the extension of the contract for the design, construction, medical equipment, furnishing and operational maintenance of the Kuwait Cancer Control Center project, for a period of 13 months, starting from January 23, 2022, until February 22, 2023.
A local Arabic daily quoting informed sources said the ministry had obtained approvals for the sixth extension of the design, construction, medical equipment, furnishing and operational maintenance project for the new Al-Sabah Hospital project, indicating that the extension would be through extending the contract of the main contractor for the project from April 18, 2020 until November 17, 2022, without financial cost.
The sources added, the previous extension included project management services, management and supervision, from February 18, 2020 to February 28, 2021, at a cost of 1.2 million dinars.
