Kuwait’s Ambassador to Jordan Aziz Al-Daihani announced, Sunday, instructions have been issued by the concerned authorities in Jordan to extend the ‘period of stay’ of cars bearing Kuwaiti plates on Jordanian soil for a period of 18 months instead of eight months, based on the depth and strength of bilateral relations between the two countries.
Al-Daihani said in a statement to the Kuwait News Agency that the Kuwaiti embassy contacted the concerned authorities through the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to convey the desire of Kuwaitis residing in Jordan in order to help extend the stay of their cars instead of taking them out after eight months, reports a local Arabic daily.
