Weather experts reported that despite heavy and sporadic rainfall continuing to affect several areas in the southern areas of Kuwait, the country remains in the eye of the rain until tomorrow afternoon, Sunday, the Meteorological Department told a local Arabic paper. Astronomer, Abdulaziz Al-Qarawi, mentioned that the country will experience irregular drizzles until Sunday evening, with scattered clouds and moderate thunderstorms.

He stressed that Wafra has occasional downpour as it was engulfed with low depression, and the weather condition affected several neighbouring areas such as Sabah Al-Ahmad and Umm Al-Hayman.

Al-Qarawi stated that the delay of the rainy season was due to the slow movement of the atmospheric depression entering the southern regions of Kuwait, in addition to the lack of humidity that aids in precipitation which typically peaks during the evening.
