The Al-Ujairi Scientific Center said on Sunday that the Tuwaibi season ends on 3 July and the Gemini season enters within 13 days, anticipating a sharp rise in temperature, Alrai Media reported. The center added that the first Gemini season is considered the warmest time of the year, especially during the day, when temperatures in desert areas reach record levels. In addition, this season brings in hot winds that are northerly active, with intensified drought and scorching heat of the sun, which affect desert reptiles and rodents.

Experts explained that Haqa’a, one of the houses of the moon, continues until 15 July and is known in the Badia calendar as the third house of the summer season. During this period, the sun goes to the south towards the equator. Furthermore, the winds in the first Gemini season are a continuation of the winds (Al-Bawareh), which some called the second barbar.
