The Minister of Health, Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadi has issued a decision to collect fees for dispensing medicines from non-Kuwaiti patients registered in the health insurance system.

According to the decision, these fees will be in the case of dispensing medicines from a pharmacy of one of the primary health care centers where the patient will have to pay KD 5, and in the event of dispensing medicines from a hospital accident pharmacy the patient will have to pay KD 10, reports a local Arabic daily.

This is in addition to the health consultation fees, which are set at KD 2 when visiting the clinic of primary health care centers and KD 10 when visiting the hospital accidents department or outpatient clinics.
