After the issuance of the new travel procedures related to the entry of citizens and residents into the country, and informed source at Kuwait International Airport revealed that residents who are exempted from vaccination due to health reasons will not be allowed to enter Kuwait, Al Qabas reported.

While expatriate children will be allowed to enter the country, the sources told the daily that the children under the age of 16 will not be denied entry if they are accompanied by their parents who have been vaccinated with the two approved doses of vaccines.

On the increase in capacity, with the start of the new travel procedures to prevent the rise in ticket prices, the source said that a letter has been submitted to the Council of Ministers to increase the capacity of arrivals to the country to more than 5,000 passengers per day, noting that the airport is awaiting approvals to increase the capacity of arrivals initially reach 10,000 passengers per day at least.

The high-risk countries will not open direct flights with them, to preserve the health system of the country.
