Expatriates are swiftly complying with a recent directive from First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled, requiring them to settle traffic fines before leaving the country, reported Al-Qabas Daily.

In just 48 hours since the announcement, the Ministry of Interior collected a significant sum of 82,000 KD from residents and visitors. The strict policy aims to improve road safety and ensure responsible driving behavior. Foreign nationals will not be permitted to depart until fines are paid in full. The initiative reflects Kuwait’s commitment to enforcing traffic regulations and fostering a secure environment.
