Expatriate doctors, who are working in Kuwait hospitals and are stranded abroad will be able to return to Kuwait in mid-July or early August as the Ministry of Health is working on their travel arrangements to return to Kuwait, reported a local daily. Many general and specialized hospitals gave a list of expatriate doctors who are stuck abroad to the Technical Department in the ministry.
Last week, the department sent a circular to hospitals with requests for a list of expat doctors working in all departments, as well as their names, specializations, civil ID numbers and passport number of the doctors, the validity of their residency permit, in addition to the contact officers in all the concerned departments at the hospitals.
