The English School Fahaheel (ESF) organized their 51st Annual Graduation and Sixth Form prize-giving with great fanfare at the Grand Hashemi Ballroom, Radisson Blu Hotel. Graduates and hundreds of guests thoroughly enjoyed an evening that saw prizes handed out by Chief Guests the Ambassador of India H.E. K. Jeeva Sagar and Deputy Head at the Embassy of Great Britain Tim Voase to Years 12 & 13 students. They were accompanied by the Chairperson of ESF Jasmin Shuhaiber.
Also in attendance were special guests, parents and ESF Alumni. The evening commenced with the entry of the class of 2019 to a huge round of applause from the parents and guests.
School Marketing and PR Manager Adeeb Shuhaiber welcomed the guests to this special event. This was followed by a speech by Mrs. Shuhaiber, Head of Sixth Form Judith Ashton and Head Principal Russell Dunlop. Upper School Principal Michael Hill also addressed the Graduates.
Following the prize-giving, Indian Ambassador Sagar gave the graduates a very inspirational speech regarding his academic experiences and touched on the students’ future pursuits. This was followed by a speech by Mr. Voase.
The evening concluded with closing words from the Upper School Principal Michael Hill, a photo opportunity and a special screening for parents and graduates.
A special photo booth was set up for students and parents who wished to get a special memorable photo on the special occasion.
