The Head of the Kuwaiti Astronomical Society, Adel Al-Saadoun, said that the day and night will be of equal time on the 16th March in Kuwait along with some other countries that are on the same latitude.

Al-Saadoun added, in a statement to Kuwait News Agency, that the sun will rise at 05:57 in the morning and set at 05:57 in the evening, recording the length of the day at 12 hours and the length of the night at 12 hours.

He explained that later on, the day will be prolonged, pointing out that the equal length of night and day in the world will be on March 21, when the sun perpendicular to the equator, and then begins to rise north towards the Tropic of Cancer.

Additionally, on June 22, the summer solstice will take place, and the day will be very long and the night very short, and the sun will be at its highest ascension from the equator, as it will lie at the Tropic of Cancer at 23.5 degrees north, at an altitude of 85 degrees from the horizon.
