This is attributed to the vast improvement in the general epidemiological situation in the country and in terms of numbers, the total number Covid-19 cases in the wards was only 15 on Friday, Nov 19, compared to 20 in mid-October, 59 cases on September 16, 433 cases in mid-August, and 1,115 patients during mid-July 2021.

According to health officials, despite the steady decline in the number of infections and closure of ‘Corona’ wards in most hospitals, the medical staff is ready to activate emergency plans should infection cases increase and require hospitalization.
