Numerous administrative and legal violations surround the course of work in the Environment Public Authority, and knowledgeable sources confirmed that they have begun to unfold through a number of decisions recently issued by the Authority.
The sources stated that the Acting Director-General of the Environment Public Authority, Samira Al-Kandari, prepared a set of administrative and legal violations, especially with regard to the law establishing the Financial Controllers Authority, the Inspection and Audit Office in the Authority, and the Civil Service Bureau, reports Al-Qabas daily.
Recent decisions issued by Al-Kandari, copies of which have been obtained by the daily, showed the appointment of a representative of the Financial Controller’s Office in the Authority, as a member of the Purchase Committee for the fiscal year 2022/2023, in addition to appointing a second member from the Inspection and Audit Office, although they are from the oversight bodies and it is not permissible They may vote or suspend any decision issued by the committee.
An official source in the authority said that the appointment of two members from the supervisory authorities in the committee contradicts Article 12 of the law establishing the Financial Controllers Authority.
And he indicated that the appointment of another member of the Inspection and Audit Department contradicts the duties of his presence in the Commission, and the members enter into many administrative and financial suspicions.
