“We may be approaching the end of the Corona epidemic in the United States,” said Scott Gottlieb, a member of the board of directors of Pfizer told CNBC, Friday.
Gottlieb suggested that the recent decisions of the US administration, to impose vaccination on workers and employees, starting next January, would help accelerate the end of the epidemic.
“By January 4, this pandemic may be over, at least with respect to the United States after we have passed the Delta mutant infection wave,” Gottlieb, who is also a former commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration, said.
