The General Administration of Customs clarified that, with regard to the clip circulating on social media, regarding a worker stamping papers in the Nuwaiseeb Customs Administration is inaccurate since the worker was only collecting papers and did not have a stamp with him.
The sources said that it was found that because some of the employees at the port left their duties, the worker at the port collected papers in their behalf. However, legal measures were taken against those employees and they were referred to the administrative department for investigation to ensure that such acts are not repeated, reports Al-Rai daily.
The administration affirmed the rejection of such an act at all customs outlets, and appreciated the role of citizens by publishing any error they see in all departments of the General Administration of Customs to rectify and correct it in the event that it is proven.
