The Ministry of Education has called on all its employees to “commit to security and safety procedures and follow the instructions issued by the Public Relations and Media Department of the Directorate-General of Fire Department (DGFD).

According to the instructions the employees are requested not to leave cars inside the parking lots after the end of the official working hours, and in the event of a malfunction to inform the building management to take the necessary action in this regard.”

The Undersecretary of the Ministry, Osama Al-Sultan, has warned against smoking in the ministry’s building, especially on the stairways, not to use incense or burn candles inside offices, and has banned the use of heaters inside the offices.

In a bulletin circulated to all ministry sectors, Al-Sultan emphasized on the need of wearing the visitors and employees ID when inside the ministry premises and that in the event of loss or non-compliance with the order the administration must be informed immediately.
