The European Medicines Agency (EMA) approved the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine for use in 12 to 15-year olds on Friday, Al-Rai reported.
It will be the first Covid vaccine available for adolescents in Europe.
The EMA’s Human Medicines Committee approved the use of the Pfizer / Biontech vaccine for children and adolescents between the ages of 12 and 15, Marco Cavalieri, director of the vaccination strategy at the agency, told reporters.
