The Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy has issued a circular on its website regarding work hours in the ministry.

The circular stated the working hours of the Ministry during weekdays are from Sunday to Thursday as follows from 7:00 in the morning until 2:00 in the afternoon, seven hours per day, and the attendance should be marked by fingerprint within 30 minutes after the start of the work time, while allowing female employees to leave the work place a quarter of an hour before the specified working hours, without prejudice to the provisions of Civil Service Council Resolution No. 41 of 2006 regarding the rules, provisions and controls of official work and its amendments, reports Al-Qabas daily.

Second: The working hours for shift workers who work technical or administrative jobs will continue as it is, and all workers are considered to be in a state of emergency and on call around the clock.

Third: This circular shall come into force as of 04/26/2023, and all competent authorities in the Ministry must implement it and inform it to whomever is necessary.
