The Ministry of Social Affairs will hold elections to elect boards of directors in cooperative societies or public benefit societies (its civil and charitable wings) soon, whose legal mandate has expired, especially in light of the start of the fourth wave of the Corona pandemic, and the decline in the number infections with the virus.
Al-Jarida daily quoting administrative sources said the Membership Affairs and Publicity of Societies Department in the Ministry made it clear that it has begun preparations to re-conduct the elections whenever the concerned authorities decide to do so.
