The Women’s Department at Al-Adan Hospital, headed by Dr. Abeer Al-Dhaidi, organized a workshop for hysteroscopy as part of the Visiting Doctors Program at the Ministry of Health. The workshop was hosted by hysteroscopy consultant, Dr. Shahrazad Ansari.
According to a statement with a local newspaper, Dr. Al-Dhaidi revealed that eight hysteroscopic operations were successfully performed using the new IBS technique to remove polyps and uterine fibroids of the patient. She added that the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at Al-Adan Hospital continues to attract visiting physicians within the program of the MOH.
The said program is aimed at conducting vital operations through the department’s medical team, with participation from the visiting physicians, in addition to exchanging experiences and information on the latest scientific findings in the field of obstetrics and gynecology.
