On the occasion of Eid-Al-Fitr, I would like to extend my warmest wishes to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishaal Al- Ahmad Al- Jaber Al- Sabah and to His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al- Khaled Al- Sabah and to the people of Kuwait and to all Muslims celebrating across the world.
This will be my first Eid Al-Fitr in Kuwait after experiencing the end of the holy Month of Ramadan in quarantine.
I am looking forward to celebrating while observing the important social distancing measures. I am also looking forward to working closely with the Government of Kuwait, under the leadership of His Highness the Amir, and to working with all Kuwaitis to build upon the already strong UK-Kuwait relationship and to enhance even further our partnership and cooperation.
