A resident of Egyptian nationality died after being hit by a four-wheel drive in Saad Al-Abdullah area.
According to a security source, the driver of the four-wheel drive vehicle, a citizen, informed the operations room and paramedics about the accident and soon help was dispatched but the emergency medical services men could do little to save the victim.
A run-over and death case was registered, and the citizen was detained at the police station after the body was referred to Forencis.
