Egyptian expat accidentally throws KD8,000 in trash bin

An Egyptian expatriate worker committed a huge error when he accidentally tossed KD8,000 dinars, which was contained in a trash bag, and kept near the waste bags into the trash bin in Al Jabriya area in Kuwait, local media reported.

Upon realizing his mistake, he searched the garbage site for the cash, but it was empty as the bin had already been emptied into a municipal truck, which removed all trash bins at the site.

The worker then filed a report at the police station, and provided details to the policemen to request their assitance to track the money. He provided a copy of a cheque of KD8,000 dinars that he had earlier cashed from a bank.

The police launched an investigation into the incident to ensure he was telling the truth, and acting on the evidence given, they are attempting to find the money.
