The Directorate-General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has announced that an evacuation flight for Egyptian nationals will depart from Kuwait International Airport to Cairo Airport on Wednesday 18 March at 1:15pm.

The DGCA explained that the Egypt Air flight will be the second such evacuation flight for the community to be operated from Kuwait International Airport.

In view of the decision by Kuwait to suspend air traffic to and from Kuwait from 13 March, the Egyptian Consulate in Kuwait had invited its nationals wishing to return to Egypt to communicate with them, especially those on tourist or visit visas, as well as those who have cancelled their residence permits.
