The Ministry of Education, within the framework of its plan to Kuwaitize the educational supervisory positions, will remove the department’s leadership positions from approximately 200 expatriate teachers at the beginning of the second semester and after the end of the mid-year vacation, indicating that it will assign the task of the department head to Kuwaitis who are awaiting their promotions.

According to a local news agency, the ministry explained that the expat workers will revert to their previous designations as teachers, while pointing out that there are several Kuwaitis who passed the promotional interviews several years ago.

On the other hand, the ministry said it is continuing its efforts to maintain the progress of the examination process through its various committees and regulations. The second deputy head of the general examinations in the literary section, director general of the Hawalli educational district, Mansour Al-Dhafiri, said that the number of students who took the Arabic language test in the literary section totaled to 16,128 students, and the number of absences reached 1,236. The number of cases of failure reached 191 cases, and the total students who attended religious education reached 1,033, while the number of cases of failure reached seven, and the number of absences reached 48.

Al-Dhafiri added that the checking process is proceeding smoothly, and will be completed within a day. Meanwhile, the first instructor of the Arabic language subject in the Hawalli educational district and the head of the grading committee in the control of the literary section, Nawir Al-Mutairi, confirmed that she received good feedback from the parents of the students on the test, which was at the level of the average student, and took into account the skills prescribed to the learner during the first semester. She pointed out that the checking process had started and proceeded smoothly, and the papers were distributed to the committees and observers to complete the checking process.
