The Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Hamad Al-Adwani, approved flexible working hours among the appointments set by the Civil Service Bureau for government agencies from Sunday to Thursday of every week, at a rate of 7 hours per day.
The Al-Rai daily said the working hours will be as follows:
From seven in the morning until two in the afternoon applies to:
— The general education sector and its affiliated departments – all educational regions
— The private and qualitative education sector and its affiliated departments
— The Administrative Affairs and Administrative Development Sector and its affiliated departments
— Financial Affairs Sector and its affiliated departments
From seven thirty in the morning until two thirty in the afternoon, it applies to:
— Legal Affairs Sector and its affiliated departments
— The educational facilities and planning sector and its affiliated departments
— Educational development sector and its affiliated activities and departments
— Educational Research Sector, Curricula and its affiliated departments
From eight in the morning until three in the afternoon, it applies to:
— Office of the Minister of Education, Department of Public Relations and Educational Media, Supreme Education Council, the undersecretary sector and its affiliated departments
