King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands on Wednesday expressed “great sadness” over the passing of His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. “On behalf of the people of the Kingdom of the Netherlands we convey our deepest sympathy to the people of Kuwait at this time of sorrow,” they said in a message. “Sheikh Sabah al-Sabah will be deeply missed,” it added.
