Kuwait succeeded in gaining the confidence of foreign investors as the Dutch direct investments in Kuwait topped other investors with investments worth 413.65 million dinars, accounting for 38% of the total investment volume of about one billion dinars by the end of the last financial year.
Al-Anba has learned that the data shows China came next in terms of the total volume of direct investment in Kuwait, with a value of 126.35 million dinars, accounting for 12%.
Consequently, the volume of direct investments by Dutch and Chinese companies in Kuwait was about 540 million dinars; Canada came in third place with investments worth 102.5 million dinars of 10%, Spain in fourth place with 91.3 million dinars, and the British Virgin Islands fifth with 88.25 million dinars.
