Firefighters and marine rescuers found the body of an Asian drowned man near Blagat Beach, Sunday, after searching for him for 33 hours.
The Public Relations and Media Department of the General Fire Service stated that a report was received from the wife of the drowned, who is of Asian nationalities, at dawn yesterday, Saturday, stating that her husband went missing when he was fishing on the rocks of Blagat Beach.
She believed that he might have fallen into the sea, and as a result, teams were dispatched from the Salmiya Firefighting and Marine Rescue Center. The teams found the drowned man on Sunday noon, and his body was recovered and handed over to the competent authorities.
