Kuwait’s revenues from the issuance of driving licenses during the past fiscal year amounted to 1.27 million dinars, according to official data published by a local daily. The country’s revenues from fees for issuing driving licenses of all kinds decreased by 31%, amounting to about 565 thousand dinars, totaling by the end of 2021/2022 to about 1.27 million dinars, compared to 1.83 million dinars collected at the end of 2020/2021.

The report emphasized that the government estimated about 2.5 million dinars that were supposed to be collected as revenues from driving license issuance during the previous year, but the actual collection was 50.9%, with a value of 1.27 million dinars, while the government did not collect 1.22 million dinars as estimated by the budget.
