Minister of Public Works and Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, Dr. Amani Bouqmaz has submitted the names of 12 employees to the Civil Service Bureau for training course and conducting tests out of whom four will be promoted to the post of assistant undersecretaries to fill the vacant sectors of the ministry.
The sources indicated that the ministry will take a similar step in the Ministry of Electricity, after submitting the names of the candidates for the position of undersecretary, reports a local Arabic daily.
Meanwhile, Dr Bouqmaz confirmed she will review the road maintenance contracts to find out the materials used, and the possibility of using the Kuwait Institute for Practical Research mixture, indicating that “the mixture needs scientific research, and I believe that it will be an excellent alternative to prevent the phenomenon of flying gravel.”
On a related note, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Public Works, Engineer Mai Al-Massad, stressed during a meeting that included the emergency units of the maintenance engineering sector, the importance of forming proactive teams to monitor the problems that citizens and residents suffer from and work to solve them.
