The Assistant Undersecretary for National Medical Services Affairs at the Ministry of Health, Dr. Fatima Al-Najjar, said the Administrative Inspection Committee in the Health Licensing Department has arrested a domestic worker.
A local Arabic daily has learned she was caught wearing a medical uniform and working on a laser device. The incident happened at a medical center in Jabriya area. To make matters worse the woman did not have a license to practice the profession.
Al-Najjar said in statement legal measures will be taken against the center, stressing that the Ministry of Health is continuing its inspection campaigns on private medical institutions, to ensure that the best medical service is provided to the visitors and put an end to all sorts of violations.
