The General Fire Force dealt with a fire that claimed the life of a household worker and, in a separate incident, rescued an electrician who suffered from burns during maintenance work on a transformer. Al-Anbaa reported the statement made by the fire department about receiving a report Wednesday morning regarding a domestic worker who was trapped in a room in Mishref. The Mishref Center was instructed to deal with the report of the victim’s death wherein forensic evidence was gathered, after which the body was transferred for forensic examination.
In another incident, the Central Operations Department received a report on Wednesday about a transformer fire in the Ardiya industrial area. The fire brigade at the Ardiya Center urgently responded to the site, and found a worker who suffered from first-degree burns. The victim sustained injuries while conducting a maintenance operation for the transformer. Security officers dealt with the accident and handed over the victim to concerned authorities.
