An Arab daily reported that several interruptions in the services at the Public Authority for Civil Information were due to the fiber cable line being cut off, particularly the “Sahel” app and other services linked to government agencies.
In a statement to a local news agency on Monday, PACI confirmed that the damaged cable connects government agencies in the ministries complex south of Surra. Relevant authorities are working on repairing the cable.
