The Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) has activated a new set of digital services for domestic labor recruitment offices. The recruitment offices can renew expired licenses through an electronic forms system on the website. This electronic system would also facilitate the auditors, Al Qabas reported quoting sources.

The sources affirmed to the daily the Authority’s keenness to end the stranded labor procedures without personal attendance. PAM has also launched online domestic worker complaints services. PAM will also be launching awareness campaigns for beneficiaries of this service in different languages to clarify the mechanism of use.

The director of the administration, M. Rabab Al-Osaimi is directly following up the new automated system by providing the required technical support in the various work departments to end any problem or notice from business owners.

The total number of transactions completed through the automated systems from January 12 to this March exceeded 500 thousand transactions, including more than 200 thousand renewal of work permits for workers residing in the country.
