The Directorate-General of Civil Aviation has once again submitted a request to the Council of Ministers to increase the airport’s operational capacity, which currently stands at 10,000 for inbound passengers per day saying it will help to lower the cost of one-way tickets particularly for travelers from Egypt and India.
