A decision issued by the Chairman of the Directorate-General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) Sheikh Salman Al-Hamoud, cancels the earlier Resolution No. 2747 of 2019 regarding the amendment of rental fees for the usage of different areas inside the airport, as the fees mentioned in the previous decision were reduced and modified to new fees.
The new annual fees for the various spaces are as follows:
Space within the existing buildings of DGCA is KD60/sqm down from the earlier KD150/sqm
Construction space in DGCA land is fixed at KD40/sqm from the earlier KD65/sqm
Shaded space on DGCA land is now KD15/sqm down from KD30/sqm
Shaded umbrella area is now KD7.5/sqm from the previous KD20/sqm
Space for lands is KD1.5/sqm down from the previous KD5/sqm.
