Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) announced on Sunday a temporary ban on those coming from Afghanistan to Kuwait until further notice. The move was taken at the direction of Kuwaiti healthy authorities, the DGCA said in a press statement. It added that the passengers arriving at Kuwait International Airport should obtain PCR certificates to show their coronavirus negative status which are valid for 96 hours, instead of 72 hours, from the date of taking the sample until the travel date.

Those who stay abroad for only four days and get a Kuwaiti PCR certificate before leaving the country are not required to obtain another PCR certificate when coming back to Kuwait, it noted.
